Who Am I? Who Are We?
The answer to this question
Cannot come from the mind
Or the historical frame of reference
The answer to this question
Cannot be found in the external
What we perceive as “out there”
The answer to this question
Cannot be newly discovered
It ever Is
The answer to this question
Cannot be run from
By evading life
Which means evading
The arising of the moment
The answer to this question
Already Is
It need not be sought
In temples
Or in solitude
In forsaking
Or renouncing
Right in the midst
Of any situation
Or relationship
Or event
Or perceived
Sense of separation
Ask:
Who Am I?
Still?
No matter how many realizations
Have happened
Let each instant arise
Fresh, vast, eternal
Unknowing, empty
Like a child
Ask: Who Am I?
No name
Or place
Or condition
Who Am I?
Rest
Silence
The Quieting
Listen
Rest in realization
The felt experience
Awake: feel Origin Creator
God Presence
Consciousness
Eternal Love
God felt knowing Itself
That Primordial Presence
I
The I
Where the “we” appears
Who are we?
Emptiness-sheen
Vast
Love, The Real
Presence, The Now
Consciousness, The Eternal
